The Acacia service sorority girls from my daughter's high school sewed from 4-7PM and with a little help from some friends, made SIX Project Linus Quilts! Six kids in distress in our area will be snuggled in one of these quilts....the girls did an awesome job!
The coolest part for me was seeing girls that were not so sure about sewing, completely into this project in a matter of minutes. I know there are a couple of sewing converts in the group...they even asked when they could come back again.
My dear husband served as the pizza delivery guy!
My son surrounded by estrogen and fabric...he didn't seem to mind!
When all was said and done, I said to my DH, "See having 4 sewing machines comes in handy sometimes!"
